I was first introduced to the practice of Yoga at the age of 16 through a Yoga DVD titled Simply Yoga by Yolanda Pettinato. Over the years I have explored various branches of Yoga such as Bikram, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Kundalini, and Hatha.
Having worked professionally as Brand Manager and Personal Stylist in the Middle East and South Africa, in 2016 I decided to pursue the study of Yoga and in 2017 completed my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Shiva Shakti Yoga School in Goa, India.
My classes focus on opening the heart,strengthening the body, proper alignment , increasing flexibility and breathing. I introduce my students to the beneficial practice of meditation and aim to instill healthy and holistic practices in every day life.
My approach is grounded in traditional lineages of Yoga, with an end goal of fostering empowered, healthy and mindful individuals.
I am available for private lessons, corporate lessons, children’s lessons, Meditation, Pranayama, pre and antenatal classes and may be booked for workshops and retreats.
Starshine Yoga’s classes are open to beginners through to the most advanced Yogi’s.
